Between six and ten months, your baby changes almost every week. They sit up on their own, discover their toes, babble, giggle and show a personality all their own. A sitter session captures this stage before it’s gone.
What is a sitter session?
A sitter session, also called a baby milestone photoshoot, is planned for when your baby can sit up steadily without help, usually between 6 and 10 months. It comes between newborn photos and a first-birthday cake smash, and many parents book all three to tell the story of their baby’s first year.
How the session works
- Timing: we plan around naps and feeds so your baby is happy and rested.
- Setups: themed setups and props are provided, and you’re welcome to bring a special outfit.
- Parents welcome: we can include a few photos of you with your baby.
- Duration: 1 to 2 hours, with plenty of breaks.
When to book
Get in touch when your baby is around 5–6 months, so we can plan a date for when they’re sitting confidently.
